Surrounded by Namibia, Zambia and DR congo, Angola a southern African nations has tropical Atlantic beaches, rivers, Sub-Saharan desert which extends to Namibia. The country is beautiful with a colonial past and cuisines which is influenced with Portuguese. Some of the top things to explore and experience in Angola are 1. Palmeirinhas: - The splendid scenic view will leave you mesmerised for sure, the long deserted beach which is about 28 miles to the south of Luanda.

The drive along coastal side will surely take you for a joy ride with so much to see and relate to. Locals as well as tourists prefer the beaches and enjoy with friends and family. 2. Kissama National Park:-This is a well known national park in Angola and is has achieved recognition of international repute. It’s a part of well known elephant relocation project in 2000, which also introduced Ostrich, Giraffe, Zebra apart from being famous spot for wildlife Elephants, African Antilope, Wild Boar Etc. Overnight Camps are also there for interested people and you can also stay in bungalow in the middle of the park.

3. Kalandula Waterfalls: - Witness the amazing Calandula Waterfalls, which is a real sight to see especially during the rainy season which is during September to April.

4. Luanda:- Luanda is the capital city of Angola and some of the best places to explore are a. Museum of Armed Forces b. Fortress c. National Museum of Anthropology

5. Museum of Slavery:- Gain a historical insight at the Museum of Slavery, 25km (16 miles) along the coast from Luanda.

6. Ilha beaches:- Experience and enjoy the bay that Luanda is built around and explore the Ilha beach which is just 5 minutes from the centre of City.

7. Humbi-Humbi art gallery:- Humbi-Humbi Art Gallery in Luanda is a cultural delight and you will have a good time specially of you love culture.

8. Coastal Forts: - Experience the many coastal forts and the famous Sao Miguel which served as a Slave depot and a residence for Portuguese, it was built in 1576.

With population of over 19 million people Angola is rising strong and is an upcoming tourist spot attracting many. Being on the sea side, sea food is the most admired food of Angola and majorly recipes revolve around the same, with a Portuguese touch.
